Waiting on Foamposites, are you? Patience will be rewarded as early as March 2nd because that’s when these Electro Purple/Total Orange Foamposites are currently scheduled to release. Featuring the shiny upper with more of a metallic finish compared to the original Royal, Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 this Phoenix Suns combo of colors has been a popular item on Sneaker News over the last few weeks. We’ll keep you updated regarding any major changes, but enjoy the new set of photos and let us know if these rank higher than any of the 2012 Foamposites.

With so many spring/summer 2013 previews of late and some of them arriving at retail early, it almost feels like the Year of the Snake has already begun.  Look for Nike Sportswear to be among the brands taking advantage of the confluence of YOTS celebration and animal print trending in 2013, both of which are exemplified in these two new releases.  Releasing Friday, December 28th are the ‘Python’ and ‘Zebra’ Nike Air Force 1 Downtown, a couple of eye-catchingly wild designs you can see in more images below while you wait for the doors to open at select NSW retailers like Extra Butter.

2011′s Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’ was deemed one of the thirty best kicks of the year (according to our own list) – will the ‘Concord’ version crack that list in 2013? Here’s a first clean look at the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Concord’ that we showed you a teaser shot of just a few days ago; the white nylon is paired with piano black patent leather with white leather on the Swoosh to complete the easygoing Concord appeal. Some details to notice: The outsole on this version is a solid grey rather than the translucent ice and the laces appear to be the classic fat Nike SB laces rather than the roped version seen on the Air Jordan XI. This sample, however, does appear to be a GS size, so the men’s size release could be a bit closer to the 2011 Space Jam Dunk. A full shot is just ahead, so take a look and give us your thoughts on this 2013 Nike SB release.

We’ve seen a few pairs scattered between here and last summer’s white-on-color pack, and now Air Max 2012 Womens the Nike Air Presto returns with another colorway that feels like it could have come from the 2000 launch. And there were indeed ‘Olympic’/'USA’ Air Prestos released around the time of the Sydney Games, so while these bear the United States color scheme Nike has used for the past two Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 decades, they represent a new chapter, if one that’s quite similar to a black-based pair that released last fall. Check out this new design after the jump, let us know where they rank in the growing catalog of 2012 Olympic sneaker designs and look for yours at Nike Sportswear dealers like Titolo.

Shortly after the Indianapolis Colts made their selection of Andrew Luck official, the NFL Draft broadcast went to commercial and Nike Football’s newest ad hit the air.  Crafted by Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 legendary music video director Mark Romanek, ‘Fast is Faster’ emphasizes the importance of rate of force development in the increasingly explosive NFL while showcasing the Swoosh’s new jerseys on some of its Nike Air Max 87 Mens brightest gridiron stars.  Larry Fitzgerald is depicted chucking sod, Troy Polamalu challenges a wrecking ball, Calvin Johnson trades ‘Megatron’ for ‘The Human Torch’ and we’re reminded where all of this is leading courtesy of Giants and Patriots fans drumming in a more synchronous fashion than you might have expected.  Click through to see the spot in full, let us know which NFL x Nike kicks and gear you’re most excited to cop and stick with Sneaker News for more as we head toward Nike’s first season as the NFL’s exclusive outfitter.

Jordan Brand Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 has been very thorough with its releases of original Air Jordan colorways, bookended by the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ and Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’. But let’s not forget another OG colorway that’s hitting stores next weekend – the White/Varsity Red-Black colorway of the Air Jordan IV; it’s yet another true Retro release (exception: Jumpman on heel) so skipping out on these might not be the shrewdest move, so if your ’06 Mars joints are in dire need of retirement, look no further than August 4th when these hit stores. Still on the fence? Check out the gallery before if you need help in swaying your decision in either direction. Photos: undefeated

Missed out on the Friday #KithStrike of Ronnie Fieg‘s Asics Gel Saga “Neptune Blue”? All is well because the shoes are still slated for a release this Friday, August 3rd, at 11 AM at KITH locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn as well as on its online shop. Also available alongside the Neptune Sagas is a special bundle pack, which features a Kith Exclusive duffel bag and a ‘Just Us’ snapback hat. Just 100 of the bundles will be available (in-store only) and will be available for $225. One final look at the next Ronnie Fieg x Asics is right ahead, so take a look and don’t miss out on this Friday morning’s release!

If instead of features like ‘NBA Feet’ and ‘Classics Revisited’ Sneaker News was in the habit of posting advice animals memes, we’d have no choice but to nominate the Van Doren brothers collectively as Good Guy Greg(s).  Their namesake Van Doren Pack is a celebration of how far Paul and the dearly departed James’ humble shoe company has come, yet the emphasis is clearly on the brand’s loyal fanbase.  Classic patterns that encapsulate the essence of some of Vans’ high points made available once again at affordable prices mean that these will be moving quickly, so have a look at each pair after the jump, then find yours at Off the Wlal retailers like DQM.

We hope everyone had a safe Thanksgiving Holiday and Black Friday shopping weekend, but let’s get back into the NBA Feet side of things, because the last few days was filled with a myriad of heat! Monta Ellis went ‘White/Red’ twice with his Air Jordan XIII and Air Jordan XIX ‘Midwest’, DeMar DeRozan went the ‘Bred’ IV route again, and some Air Flight Ones were spotted as well. Kobe Bryant whipped out a Grey/Purple PE colorway of the Kobe VII iD, the Spiz’ike was a Nike Free Run + 3 popular choice, and Rondo amazed us with his Air Jordan IX ‘Cool Grey’. There’s plenty more to see below, so check out the Weekend Recap of Sneaker News: NBA Feet and get caught up on the sneaker rotations in the NBA!

For some of you the World Basketball Festival might just be a group of sneakers from the likes of Nike, Converse, and Jordan Brand, but for the folks lucky enough to live in one of this year’s tour stops it’s a complete celebration of the power of the sport to unite people on a worldwide level. Showcasing the progression from the 2010 event in NYC to this year’s far flung tour, this video spot from Nike Inc. serves up a preview of things to come, with some insight from the likes of USA Basketball’s Coach K, Jerry Colangelo, Geno Auriemma, Diana Taurasi and Nike Brand President Charlie Denson. Click through to check out the video spot and let us know if you’re making it out to the World Basketball Festival 2012.

With all these NFL team-inspired colorways of Nike Trainer Retros, where does Air Trainer SC High fit in? Although we’ve yet to see a true capsule around the Detroit Lions, these do capture that appeal with the Grey/Blue combination. The Lions are sitting at a respectable .500, but they’re unfortunately placed last in their divisions with the Bears, Packers, and Vikings all playing great ball. Will we see Lions in the Playoffs in January? If you’re a Lions fan, show your support Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 by copping these Air Trainer Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 SC Highs this December 5th.

Earlier this year, a French fashion label with a vaguely Japanese-sounding name came through with a bunch of patterned collaborative designs.  Rounding out 2012, we see this Lincoln/Kennedy arrangement flipped, as Japan’s Adam et Ropé teams up with Off the Wall on a new style based on traditional beach outerwear.  The Adam et Rope x Vans Era features a navy blue mix of suede and ‘salt and pepper’ beachcloth atop your choice of an all-white or checkerboard-walled Waffle sole.  This subtle four-pack is likely to remain an Asia exclusive, so have a closer look below and let us know how they compare to Vans’ best stateside releases this year.

Unveiled about Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 a month before the annual San Diego convention, Reebok’s collaboration with the Marvel Universe hit retailers just after Comic Con 2012.  But as we saw a couple weeks back with a new Pump Twilight Zone, this ongoing partnership still has plenty releases left, both in terms of new styles we haven’t seen and that initial June preview.  The Marvel x Reebok Night Storm HLS takes on ‘Venom’ persona in black and white that adds a series of unique textures (along with a delightfully creepy tongue hangtag) that puts this sophisticated trail midtop in a class above earlier kids efforts.  Decide for yourself how this official collabo compares to the Nike SB ‘Venom’ Dunk High staple and grab the newest Night Storm in time for Halloween today from SNS.

Joining the shoe that could potentially be Derrick Rose’s playoff selection in a flattering Year of the Snake-inspired colorway is the most popular adidas Basketball silhouette of the moment.  The adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 YOTS rocks the same Collegiate Navy, blue and gold combo as the D-Rose 3.5s, but a greater emphasis on blue tonality, less texture and a more subdued metallic gold presence put these in the unfamiliar position of being the less intricate of the two.  Let us know which you like best after scanning more photos below, then grab the Crazy Light 2 Year of the Snake straight from adidas.

Last July, Nike opened its third Salvation retail space, capitalizing on the success of the shops in Laguna Beach and Irvine with another storefront in Malibu.  Salvation is a retail concept that brings together select Nike (SB/6.0), Hurley and Converse kicks and gear, and one of the coolest features of the store has to be ‘The Workshop’, an on-site customization station that allows shoppers to create their own custom sneakers, apparel and accessories with styles from a network of Nike collaborators.  N-SB poster Jason Lim just showed off an ornate pattern applies to the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski ‘Bonsai’, and Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 along with a leather lace Nike Free Run + 3 swap, they’re 180 degrees from the original.  Click through to see some more examples of Workshop’d Janoskis, let us know which concept works best and take a trip along the 101 so you can craft a pair at one of three Salvation locations.

Is the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Championship/MVP’ Pack’ the most coveted LeBron release (note: this doesn’t include PEs and samples) of all-time? The first ever two-pair Pack release bearing LeBron’s name dropped last Summer after LeBron cemented his name among the all-time greats by winning his first ‘chip and third overall League MVP, and the value of these bad boys has steadily risen over the last few months. A Nike LeBron X Pack bearing the same name is very likely considering the Heat are playing at a high level thanks to LeBron’s undeniable MVP-level performances, and if it does boil down to that result, we can’t wait to see what Nike has in store. Take one good look at this rare Pack below and if you’re interested in seeing what the asking price is, see the full listing from backroad_music on us store.

There’s good cop and there’s bad cop, but how about “dumb” cop? Poor guy can’t even figure out that one of his detectives is the very guy he’s looking for. Kevin Durant stars in this latest Foot Locker commercial playing two roles, the detective, and also the fugitive KD who is wanted for being “not nice” and viciously dunking on helpless opponents. The chief does have a lead with a piece of key evidence – one shoe from the Nike KD V ‘Ice Blue’ aka ‘Gullwing’ (the same shoe Detective Durant happens to be missing). Check out the full video and be sure to check out Foot Locker for all your Nike KD V gear, and whenever you spot KD doing his damage on the court, let your Twitter community know by tweeting @FootLocker and using the hashtag #KDISNOTNICE.

Believe it or not – roller skating is actually a big part of Black-American history. As America was getting closer Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 to the end of segregation, the Chicago Roller Skating Rink, which was around since the late 1800′s, was the first to open its doors to Blacks. Since then, the fun indoor activity became a major part of American culture as a whole (and it still goes strong today!). We stumbled on this rare piece of vintage sports memorabilia – an original pair of Air Jordan 1 roller-skates; these, however, were not the first Nike roller skates, as we saw a pair of Nike Killshot skates that date back to the late 70′s/early 80′s, and certainly not the last (remember when Russell Westbrook flossed his True Blue skates?). So just how much does a collectible like this go for? Check for yourself by hitting up the listing from smokeysstash on us store.

The Nike WMNS Air Max 1 Nike Air Max 90 Mens continues as arguably the single strongest and most prolific ladies sneaker on the market, following up on the dope white/silver edition we just showed you with a new style that makes a pack out of a design we’d seen in November as a February preview.  So that means this new Air Max 1 for women with the eyecatching textured mudguard are going to be released around the same time as part of Nike Sportswear’s spring 2013 catalog.  Sneaker News will keep you posted should any more makeups in this style come forth, so enjoy some more photos in the meantime and be sure to check back with us for updates.

The most recent Lunar Hyperdunk preview we showed you here on Sneaker News had a bit of Oregon Ducks vibe about it thanks to the Gorge Green accents on its eye-catching Volt base. This new Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ might stretch toward Oregon’s Pac-12 rival USC, but it’s Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 more likely that this University Gold and University Red combo was crafted with the host of the OG Hyperdunk debut’s flag in mind. This yellow and red combo would be perfect as a China PE, or even Spain might see some use in this pair for a sort of ‘alternate’ look. Check them out up close below, let us know how you think the colorway translates to the Lunar Hyperdunk’s exposed Flywire design and stick with Sneaker News for more previews and updates as we approach the June 29th launch date.

The month of September is one poised to sort of steer things away from retros for the moment as far as Jordan Brand is concerned. Sure we kicked off the month with this OG Air Jordan VII colorway, but right after that the plan is for signatures and hybrids to sort of take over for a few weeks. Next weekend for example we’ll get our hands on this all new Jordan Son of Mars colorway, one of many silos to sport the Bordeaux tone in the month of September. Stay with us after the jump for all the angles on the Jordan Son of Mars ‘Bordeaux’ and keep in mind that they’ll drop next Saturday, September 15th at accounts like CNCPTS.

October is in full force, so let’s get right to it: Jordan Brand presented us with an amazing collection of Air Jordan IX PEs for NFL athletes as the Kilroy Pack continues to unfold. Nike Air Max 95 Mens The Christmas edition of the LeBron is finally unveiled, while Bron’s teammate D-Wade officially unveils the Li-Ning partnership. The Zoom Hyperflight will arrive in 2013 in anything but a ‘GR’ form, and KD and Kobe tighten the screws in some new sneakers during NBA Pre-season action. Hyperposites continue to trend in PE and sample form, while the Penny V releases keep chugging out – this time in ‘Tour Yellow’. Jason Kidd also gets in on the 90′s mix with four colorways of the Zoom Flight 95 ‘Career Pack’. Air Force 1s will continue to be a massive headline, and it certainly is this week thanks to the ‘Presidential’ Air Force 1 and the Lunar Force Low.

Stussy chums it up with Nike again with a sick nine-pair collection of the OMS “S&S Capsule”. More from Reebok in the form of keynote release dates as well, while Asics continues to wow the crowd with the ‘Kill Bill’ styled Gel Saga II. Summer 2013 seems to be set for Nike Sportswear as we get a peek of what’s to come two seasons from now. Vans continues to impress with its nice fabrications from their Authentic, California, and OTW capsules. A feature on sneaker stockpiles gets the readers in a frenzy, a sneak peek at the exhibits from the Nike Graphic Studio Art Show coerces some profound responses, and the best custom sneakers of the week dazzle the crowd. With basketball kicks in such high demand and popularity, Sneaker News looked at five awesome early-2000′s models for Classics Revisited. Sneaker News Weekly Rewind in its entirety is right ahead, so read up and be the most knowledgeable sneakerhead on the block.

Tomorrow, the U.S. market will welcome with open arms the tenth signature shoe for LeBron James. This milestone in signature shoe history has been met only one other time by an individual named Michael Jordan, so for Nike and LeBron James, the X is a marker of much more than ten years of partnership, but one of history-making. The ‘Fireberry’ seen here is in fact infused with Nike+ technology, allowing athletes to measure a wide variety of performance output data, but let’s be real here – the color alone is enough of a sales pitch. Cop the Nike LeBron X+ ‘Fireberry’ at select Nike locations tomorrow if you’ve already locked up your Twitter RSVP with NikeTown locations.

The NBA season has come to an end, but that only marks the beginning of a few things. Nike and Jordan Brand gear up for the Playoffs with the releases of the Elite, while Jordan Brand gave us a look at Playoff colorways of their three signature stars. Sneaker News brought you a first-hand interview with Jason Petrie and Leo Chang, who detailed in full the entire Elite Series mission and concept. Another top story came from the NFL, as the Nike x NFL partnership finally came to sneaker fruition with a special set of footwear releases marking the NFL Draft and the eight divisions of the league. In other sports related news, we gave you a run-down of the best NBA Feet of the year, while handing out awards to the baller/sneakerheads who gave NBA fans a little something extra. LeBron James was definitely popular name in the ‘Best of’ category, but a look at some upcoming Soldier VI releases might have us more excited of what’s to come. Yet another sick KD IV colorway is in books, as the ‘Aunt Pearl’ Think Pink colorway is set for a release in just two weekends from now, and a first viewing of two upcoming colorways of the Lunar Hyperdunk 2012 rounded out Nike Basketball headlines.

Nike SB continues to regain ground with the latest push of solid releases as we got a look at another Zoom Koston collab – this time hooking up with the Air Max 90 Infrared. adidas launched the sequel to the widely popular Crazy Light this week to a special group of media including a first-hand experience of the  event from Sneaker News. Other adidas news came from the Skate division, as team rider Dennis Busenitz shows us that he’s stricken with the Blues. Air Force 1 madness continues in 2012, but this week, we should say it’s more accurately described as Air Force 1 Air Max 90 Womens ‘Linsanity’. Ronnie Fieg’s latest Asics collaboration officially dropped, and release info for Air Max 2013 Men Shoes the Packer Shoes x Saucony Grid 9000 was worth jotting down in your memory. We brought you a look at some more Air Jordan goodies from the interwebs, like the DMP ‘Eyelet’ sample and a pair of OGs manufactured in Italy. The most enthralling news came when Nikestore canceled midnight online releases, which looks to be just the beginning of Nike’s attempts to revise the entire horizon of sneaker releases for the future. We’ve got all the top stories below, so check out the rest of Sneaker News Weekly Rewind below!

Jeremy Scott has unleashed a five-point touch of death over what has been for some a sick five-day weekend, his latest designs having previewed across the pond at Berlin’s Bread & Butter tradeshow.  We’ve seen some new twists on familiar Metro Attitude remixes as well as a couple new styles, and now it’s time for those we’d only seen in the background to flesh out the rest of this set.  J.Scott’s Pink Poodle and Camo Teddy Bear join his adidas Originals Streetball in a Nike Free Run + new colorway, plus loafers, low-profile lowtops, double-buckled highs and another standout hightop whose branding somehow manages to beat even Three Stripes’ most MEGA.  Click through for a bunch of new images, let us know which pairs catch your eye and stick with Sneaker News for release info.  Photos: EUkicks

Following up last year’s deep ‘Year of the Dragon’ treatment of the Nike Air Force 1 series is the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year of the Snake’ pictured here. The pair puts on plenty of snakeskin as to be expected, but manages the carve out its own niche in the long lineage of scaly Uptown releases. You can credit that largely to the slick midsole that rocks with the reptilian look Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 in a set of different tones than those found on the upper. Hit the jump to get a better look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year of the Snake’ and check back with Sneaker News for release info.

Nike Basketball is back with another out of this world set of sneakers for their 2013 NBA All-Star collection. Included are each of the pillars of the big three in basketball sneaks: the Nike LeBron X, the Nike KD V, and the Nike Kobe 8. The pairs aim at an extraterrestrial theme inspired by the Houston location and its mission control center, sort of keeping things in the same galactic space as last year’s massively buzzed about All-Star collection. Continue reading for full shots of the Nike LeBron X ‘All-Star’, the Nike KD V ‘All-Star’, and the Nike Kobe 8 ‘All-Star’, all of which will release on February 15th, and drop us your thoughts on the collection in the comments below.

The next Foamposite release is almost here! If that had you exciting to pick up another pair from the Penny Hardaway line we’ve gotta dash those hopes right now, as the sneaker in question isn’t a full on Foam but rather the Nike Air Max Hyperposite that rocks the molded look on a portion of its upper. The sneaker’s got plenty of other tech packed in too, with Hyperfuse also hitting on the upper and good amount of Max Air cushioning on the bottom. As previously mentioned the wait for these is nearly over, with this Saturday, August 18th being the release date Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 of all three pictured colorways. Click through for a better view and be on the lookout for them this weekend at your local NSW account.

You need only examine the going prices at resale for the ‘Golden Moments’ edition to realize that new Air Jordan VI colorways are a hot commodity, and now comes a new pair that’s slipped under the radar thanks to its feminine appeal.  Most sneakerheads and Jordan collectors would be more into these were the midsole gradients, say, red-to-white rather than the cotton candy-y mix of Pink Flash and Marina Blue on these Air Jordan 6 GSes, which means girls will have its patent-overlaid pop all to themselves.  A follow-up to 2010′s white rainbow-soled Sixes that foreshadows some other interesting new girls colorways from the Air Jordan Legacy, this new style just arrived at select retailers like Oneness.

It’s true that greatness tends to shadow those who have already made their profound marks in society on any scale; whether it be in a prominent industry or in your local community, greatness is an instant process that begins with one step forward. Over the last few years, Nike Basketball has risen far above being the undisputed champion of performance footwear into the driving force of the sneaker game; signature models like the LeBron, Kobe, and Zoom Nike Air Max 2012 Mens KD and in-line models like the Hyperdunk have absolutely dominated the scene largely in part due to the neck-breakers and energetic releases and Player Exclusives. One individual responsible for this renaissance is former Nike employee Kyle Yamaguchi, who brings his sublime touch of design and detail to his latest endeavor – LOOK/SEE.

LOOK/SEE brings unparalleled style and swagger to eyewear using a variety of sneaker-centric graphics like elephant print from the Air Jordan III, cement print from the Air Jordan IV, and Safari print from the 1987 original (the shades are housed in a shoebox-style package as well). One of Kyle’s proudest works is the LOOK/SEE Reflective collection, a call-out to his penchant for using Reflective material on his PE and Special Edition designs; thanks to durable Halo Coatings reflective layer, the Reflective Collection boasts a visual pop on the main frame of the glasses. For the launch of the LOOK/SEE brand, Kyle’s friend Michael K. Williams of The Wire fame models the Triple-Black colorway of the LOOK/SEE Shades, so take a look at the official photo-shoot with Michael as well as some of the intriguing pieces from LOOK/SEE below.

With the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday falling on this Monday, we can certainly expect a ton of BHM colorways to hit the NBA Court, but it looks like some players jumped the gun! Kevin Durant wore the Nike KD V ‘BHM’ against the Nuggets, while teammate Reggie Jackson went with the Nike Zoom Soldier 6 ‘BHM’. Some heat was spotted out in Philly as well as Nick Young whipped out the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’, while Willie Green presented us with a PE colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze II in White/Red/Blue. Deron Williams of the Nets continues his Nike Retro push with the Air Force Max, while the Penny V gets more shine as Courtney Lee wore the ‘Tour Yellow’ colorway. All of this weekend’s best NBA Feet is just ahead, so give it a look and let us Air Max 2012 Womens know which player impressed you the most!

In 2008, Nike Sportswear teamed up with animation studio LAIKA (owned by Phil Knight) for a special promo pair of Nike Dunk Highs inspired by the film Coraline. Just 1,000 pairs were produced and each pair was given away via a promo contest connected with the ending credits of the film. Four years later, LAIKA has whipped up another animated film called ParaNorman – a story about a unique boy with the ability to communicate with the living dead. To commemorate the August 18th opening of the film, Nike Sportswear has created a special treat on shoe known for its own quirky habits and reputation – the Nike Air Foamposite One.

Sneaker News first gave you teaser images of the ParaNorman Foamposites on Monday and full details of the release were given yesterday. If you’re still not yet clear on how to obtain these highly-coveted Foamposites, no dollar amount will guarantee you a pair, because these are strictly a giveaway run by Nike and the folks over at ParaNorman. All you need to do is follow @ParaNorman on Twitter, hit them with a childhood photo of yourself being “weird”, and with it, Nike Air Max 95 Mens a Tweet with #Weird Wins ParaNorman Foamposite. Nike and ParaNorman call these Foams “Weird Kicks for Weird Kids“, so you’d better swallow your pride and submit some weird photos of yourself? Another look at the official images as well as a step-by-step list of instructions and details are just ahead.

When exactly did Michael Jordan wear the ‘Fire Red’ IV in his career? Well, he first debuted the Air Jordan IV during the 1989 All-Star Game (wearing the Bred IV), then rocked the White/Cement IV for the remainder of the ’89 campaign. The Fire Red colorway didn’t make a debut until the following ’89-’90 season, being MJ’s go-to pair until the Air Jordan V made its Air Max 90 Womens own debut in the ’90 All-Star Game. The ‘Fire Red’ IV made headlines again in 2006 with the ‘Mars’ release, and this August, we’ll get the opportunity once more (sans Mars, and ‘Varsity’ instead of ‘Fire’) as Jordan Brand continues its year-long celebration of the Air Jordan IV. We’ve got another thorough look at the kids size of this upcoming August release, so take a look and we’ll keep you updated with more Jordan Brand news. Photos: air-randy

Sneaker News just brought you word of the ‘Vino Rosso’ edition finally getting ready to arrive at retailers, but might you also be interested in a Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski colorway that instead of being defined by stains, is practically impervious Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 to them? If so, look no further than this black suede Zoom Stefan Janoski SB, a reprisal of last June’s ‘Blackout’ Mids that also bears a passing resemblance to the totally black ‘All Weather’ edition that released a few months later. And given that we already had two somewhat similar Mids, it’s about time to see this standby colorup applied to the original Janoski signature silo. You’ll find more images after the jump below, then grab yours from a Nike SB retailer like Premier.

Did it really take this long for someone to cook up a custom version of the immediately beloved Nike Roshe Run? To some, the idea of fiddling with the minimalism that has made this silhouette a hit might seem like blasphemy but hey-Nike Sportswear themselves did it with the camo editions and those were certainly a hit. The pair shown is the work of one Noldo, who used the black/green Roshe as a base, slapping on a flourescent leopard print look as borrowed from last year’s Versace x H&M collection. Click through to take a look at the pair and let us know if you’d like to see more Nike Roshe Run customs.

The LeBron 9 was heralded as the first sneaker to Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 combine Hyperfuse and Flywire. The Air Max Hyperposite, on the other hand, commands another beefed-up combination as it features the supreme breathability of Hyperfuse with the locked-down fit of Foamposite. Which one-two punch is better? We won’t know for sure until the Hyperposite becomes available later this year, but we do know that Nike isn’t being subtle with the colorways because the Blue/Volt and Teal/Pink colorways we’ve seen match perfectly with the new-age design of the Hyperposite. We first showed you this colorway back in mid-April, and immediately the ‘South Beach’ comparisons were made, and despite how hackneyed you feel the Blue/Pink color-combo is, you can’t deny the sheer ‘wow-factor’ of the total package. More detailed shots of the Air Max Hyperposite are revealed below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates and release information! Photos: marqueesole

We all thought the Air Jordan VI would be rewarded with a prolonged breather after all the great releases in 2010 (Infrared Pack, Motorsports, the Oreo), but a comeback has been confirmed for 2012 – and they just might be the best Retro releases of the year. Returning as part of ‘Pack’ is the Air Jordan VI in ‘Gold Medal’ form as well as another familiar colorway – the ‘Olympic’ that was worn by Ray Allen during the 2000 Olympics. We’ve got another detailed look at this highly-anticipated release, so check out the gallery below and let us know if these have your vote has the best Retro release of the year. Photos: air-randy

Kevin Durant has made it very clear that he wants his shoes to be worn by EVERYONE. It’s Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 not uncommon to see a bulk of the Thunder roster rocking the KDs in game, and we’ve even seen some of them unveil a new colorway before KD himself gets to. Such was the case yesterday during OKC’s tough loss against the wily Spurs, when Kendrick Perkins did his thing in a new colorway of the Nike KD Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 V; it has that Team Bank two-toned composition of Black and Orange – a perfect fit for the Away uniforms. More angles of Perkins and this rare Sneaker News NBA Feet spotlight, so take a look and stay tuned for more KD V updates.

The availability as far as Asics Gel Saga collaborative projects go has waxed and waned over the past week or so, with word arriving that the Solebox x Asics pairs had apparently been nixed followed up quickly by the surfacing of an upcoming Foot Patrol version. Things have been steady over on the inline options with the latest offering being this orange blaze colorway, one that we previewed a while back as part of a psuedo-pack together with an Asics Gel Lyte III bearing the same combo. The Asics Gel Saga ‘Orange Blaze’ is up for grabs now, so hit the jump with us to see all the angles and import them if you so desire from Germany’s own Afew.

The Zoom Kobe line went full ‘Snake’ with the Zoom Kobe VI and the faux snake-skin shell upper, but what we’ve really been waiting for is a Kobe release like this. It was only a matter of waiting for 2013 when the Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 ‘Year of the Snake’ gave Nike Basketball all the opportunity to extend its reach to the limits of design, and this high-grade premium release with a black snakeskin upper, etched Swoosh and Kobe logo on the heel, and seamless upper encapsulate the attitude of Kobe’s career and personality as a refined predator with a flair for style. This first ‘Year of the Snake’ release is scheduled to hit stores this weekend in China, so check out the extra images below and let us know if this is the best Kobe release yet.
